Fall is finally upon us on the Central Coast and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate the season’s change, than designing a blend of masculine and feminine details for a modern harvest wedding lounge inspiration with our new furniture rentals!

For this modern harvest styled shoot, we wanted to showcase designs that encompass both masculine and feminine compositions. Our canvas and inspiration came from our venue, Flying Caballos Ranch. Located in the rolling hills of Edna Valley Wine Country, less than 5 minutes from downtown San Luis Obispo. The picturesque property combines old world artistry with modern amenities and is an entirely new genre of accommodation, offering the luxuries of a hotel stay on a sprawling historic ranch. The Flying Caballos Ranch is the perfect place for a getaway with friends and family and also serves as an incredible spot to host your private celebration, such as a family reunion, graduation party, corporate retreat, or wedding.

Using the surroundings to inspire our color palette, we designed with natural tones, rich browns, navy blues, mauve pinks, muted orange and pops of yellow with florals. Beautiful centerpieces and floral installations were created and designed by Katie Noonan of Noonan’s Wine Country Designs. A new inventory piece to our rental collection includes our custom made white farm house Coastal Dining tables, a table with sleek coastal design and bright aesthetic. The design was created using floral centerpieces and foraged garden goodies anchored with spiced orange pillar candles. For the place settings we chose classic white dishes and subtle textured napkins from Blush Fine Linens. Our Copper Metal Dining Chairs accented the barn’s beautiful wood siding, giving a poetic pop with the dining table.

Lounge design is our passion and food to our soul at Avenue Twelve. For these lounges we couldn’t wait to play with our newly purchased furniture pieces! With Flying Caballos Ranch’s rustic and modern aesthetic, we decided to incorporate lounges that are both masculine and feminine. Making a statement with our Dahlia Sofa, a dreamy mauve velvet number paired with our Pebble Chairs blended beautifully with our Colton Bunching tables – romantic and chic with modern flare. The fireside lounge took on more of a masculine design using our Cigar leather sofas. With the modern composition of the leather sofas and gold accented bunching tables the Blue Velvet Ottomans were playful and softened the design.
