This past January, we had big plans with a lot of our wedding-design friends and clients. However, it appeared there would be a slight deviation from our direct plan of action. As a small company, we decided to stop, reflect and design one of our favorite spaces.

Design is something that brings us all immense joy at Avenue Twelve, it is why our owners founded this company and collectively we decided to keep the designs flowing and our imagination sharp. Our dear friend and venue manager hosted us to explore our design fascinations with a styled shoot at Greengate Ranch & Vineyard.

The historic Greengate Ranch & Vineyard has strong roots in San Luis Obispo, dating back to the 1800’s when it was first run as a dairy farm. Later in the 1950’s, the ranch was run as a world class Arabian horse barn, that bred and raised champion Arabians. The barn entertained celebrities and royals from all over with extravagant galas and events, now in present day, this beautifully restored venue is one of the top luxury event spaces on the Central Coast.

With design in mind, we opted for a more classic timeless aesthetic–something that would mimic the natural and historic architecture and timeless color palette. Our great friend and talented florist Katie Noonan, created gorgeous floral installations that accented our lounges and ceremony design perfectly.

At Avenue Twelve, we love to create, design and inspire with our designs and can’t wait to celebrate all our clients very soon!!!
